For plumbers
Never miss a burst-pipe call again.
A burst pipe doesn't leave a voicemail. When you can't pick up — under a floor, mid cylinder swap, driving between jobs — Graftline answers in two rings, asks the right questions, and puts the job on your WhatsApp before the caller has rung anyone else.
£79.99/month after the trial — about £2.60 a day · No commitment — cancel anytime
Who's ringing while you can't answer
Plumbing calls are urgent by nature. The caller has water coming through the kitchen ceiling and a list of plumbers from Google — and whoever answers first gets the job.
Water through the ceiling
A pipe's let go upstairs and it's raining in the kitchen. The caller is panicking, and they will keep dialling down the search results until a human answers. If that's not you, it's the next plumber on the list.
No hot water, tenants complaining
A letting agent with a tenant who's had cold showers for two days. Agents ring three plumbers at once and book whoever picks up — miss the call and you're off their list for next time too.
The blocked loo on a Friday night
One toilet in the house and it's out of action. Not glamorous, but it's a call-out fee plus the job — and it always rings when you're at the dinner table or elbow-deep in another one.
The bathroom refit enquiry
Not everything's an emergency. The four-grand refit enquiry rings once, politely, during the day — while you're on the tools. They won't chase you. They'll just get quotes from whoever answered.
What one unanswered call can be worth
Graftline costs £79.99 a month. Look at what a single plumber job typically goes for, and the sums do themselves — one saved call usually covers the month.
Typical UK price ranges, shown to illustrate what a missed call can cost — not a promise of work. Your prices are your own, and Graftline only ever quotes what you tell it to.

Answers like your office
Picks up in two rings with your business name. Asks what's wrong, where the water's coming from, whether it's near any electrics, and whether they can get to the stopcock — the questions you'd ask before deciding to drop everything.

Separates the flood from the drip
A burst main gets flagged urgent and you're alerted straight away. A dripping tap or a refit enquiry gets booked in politely without interrupting you mid-job. And any mention of a gas smell gets the caller the National Gas Emergency line (0800 111 999) first — hard-coded, every call.

The job lands on WhatsApp
Name, number, postcode, what's leaking, how urgent — and a starting price as "from £…", if you've set one. Ring back when your hands are free.
One plan. Everything in.

Can it actually quote plumbing work?
Starting prices, yes — if you tell us a call-out is from £90 or a tap swap from £120, Graftline quotes it that way on the call, never as a locked-in total. Anything that needs eyes on it, like a leak trace or a refit, gets booked as a visit instead, because guessing a firm price on unseen work helps nobody.
What does it do with a genuine emergency, like a flood?
It flags the call as urgent and alerts you immediately, so you can ring back within a minute or two instead of finding a voicemail at 5pm. And if a caller mentions a gas smell, they hear the National Gas Emergency line (0800 111 999) before anything else — that's hard-coded into every call.
I do gas work too. Does that change anything?
Only for the better. The gas-smell safety rule runs on every call regardless, and Graftline is briefed on your full list of services — so it takes boiler breakdown and servicing enquiries alongside your plumbing work.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You keep the number on your van and your Google listing. You set your phone to divert to Graftline only when you don't answer — one dial code, about two minutes, and we test it with you before it goes live.
What if it gets something wrong?
Every call starts with a clear recording and transcription notice, and the transcript is available in your dashboard for up to 90 days, so you can check exactly what was said. Audio is retained in Retell for internal quality and support for up to 90 days; contractors don't get audio playback. The honest way to judge it: divert your line for the 7-day free trial and read the job cards it sends you.
